This will be quick because I have an amazing city to walk around in today (and shop, hello) but I wanted to post briefly and let you all know that I got er done.
Time: 1:53:12....a new PR by a mere 30 something seconds.
I am mad at myself for dropping the ball the last few miles, I need to work harder. I got tired and warm and I never really got into the race, and the course was beyond boring. I knew I had it in me, but it will have to wait until next month. That Sub 1:50 will be mine....
Off to check out more of San Fran!
Girl! A PR is a PR. and 1:53 is speedy. Be proud! I'm proud of you! :)

ReplyDeleteOur PR's are exactly the same! Funny! Gosh- I have no idea what it will feel like after I have this baby and start running again... oy- not looking forward to starting from scratch! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI'm telling you... come to Alaska, the courses are NEVER boring!
ReplyDeleteAnd we probably shouldn't tell Sara that after she has this baby, she is going to pee a little every time she runs... :p
Pixie! PR-tastic. I hope you get a recap up! This was my first RnR, I didn't realize it was relatively small. The last few miles were rough for me too...gotta toughen up my mind
